Looking for a great place to celebrate your wedding day, birthday bash, or host a market or meeting? Perhaps you need a quiet, comfortable location to celebrate the life of someone important to you. Maybe you are involved in a local youth organization in need of a regular meeting place.

The Balzac Hall is a popular spot for celebrations of every stage of life, markets for local artisans & more, and meetings - both corporate and recreational.

Our Facility

The Hall includes a large dining/meeting area along with a 2,000 square foot dance floor and stage area. There is also a large space downstairs that can be used for meetings and other activities.

In addition to the Main Hall we also offer use of our adjacent 'Cookhouse'. This unique building is versatile with a large on site BBQ, running water, indoor and outdoor seating and serving areas and radiant heat within. The perfect place for a small family or company function.

 

Total capacity of the Main Hall is 225 people (128 comfortably seated at 16 round tables of 8 each - additional tables may be added on the dance floor). There is ample parking for 80+ vehicles.

Rental of the Hall includes use of:

  • 20 – five-foot diameter round tables          

  • 13 – 8-foot-long rectangular tables

  • 26 – 6-foot-long rectangular tables

  • 4 – 4-foot-long rectangular tables  

  • ~225 chairs – no highchairs 

  • Warming/prep kitchen with fridge & 100 cup coffee percolator  

  • Bar area with fridge, deep freeze, sinks, ice tub and serving counter/window

The Hall does not provide plates, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, linens, decor, event staff, etc.

 

Additional services such as such as set up of tables & chairs, decorating, bartenders, caterers, DJs (audio/visual), post-rental clean up, etc. are not provided by the Hall and would need to be arranged externally.

 

The Hall Manager can provide recommended vendors for some services that are familiar with the space if you would like to check availability, rates and potentially hire help for these details.

Monday-Thursday ______________________________________ $235.00

Friday-Saturday ______________________________________ $785.00

Sunday _______________________________________________ $420.00

Hourly Rate (M-Th only) ______________________________  $75.00

Addition of the cookhouse to any rental M-Th _________ $125.00

                       F-Su _________ $235.00

  • Rental fees are subject to GST and are due two weeks prior to the rental 

  • A damage deposit equal to the rental rate (not subject to GST) is due at the time of booking. The damage deposit is refundable after the rental per the terms and conditions
